Knitting pattern for a beautiful, stretchy dog snood.
Easy cable pattern that knits up very quickly. The pattern flows very nicely and adapts to your dog’s head and neck, thus the name - The River snood.

Each row has both chart and written instructions

This pattern comes in 3 lengths:
17cm/6.5in
25cm/10in
35cm/14in
(Best suited for dogs with long necks)

Head girth:
20-60cm/7.5-24in

The smallest size will suit Italian greyhound and similar breeds, the larger sizes will fit even Great Dane.

This snood is warm, soft and will protect your dog’s ears both from the cold and from catching in nasty stuff.

Knit on round with a pretty cabled pattern, but also includes a leash opening that is worked flat.

Wool (sheep, merino, alpaca, or blend of these) for winter
