River Dunajec
Shawl is inspired by the gentle waves and winding paths of the River Dunajec. Worked in long horizontal rows with a rhythmic chevron design, it’s an ideal project for relaxing crochet sessions.
Materials:
• 2 balls of blue batik yarn (Alize Angora Gold Batik or MTP Angora Batik, 100 g / 550 m)
• 1 ball of unicolor dark moss green yarn (same quality as above)
• Approximately 50 g of light green yarn for the final row and tassels
• Crochet hook size 3–3.5 mm
Difficulty: Easy
Stitches Used:
• ch – chain
• ss – slip stitch
• tr – treble crochet
• V – (tr, ch, tr) into the same stitch
• tr5tog – 5 treble crochets together (worked as: skip 1 st, begin first leg in next st; repeat 5 times)
• Picot – ch 3, slip stitch into the front two loops of the stitch below
Repeat Pattern: 52 stitches; 9 full repeats across the width
