This pattern is a GREAT first hat for beginner knitters . It will fit most adult heads and is easy to customize for any taste.

The pattern is knit flat and then sewed together with a single seam. The crown of the hat is created via short rows, forming 8 wedges which are knit together row by row. You don’t need to break the yarn when switching between colors and if you use your loose ends to sew the hat together you don’t have to do any weaving!

You’ll need two colors of worsted weight or aran yarn - about 75y of each color to be safe. Also you’ll need an embroidery needle to sew the hat together.
