The Riverbed Hat is the perfect project highlighting complex cables, which run between sections of knit/purl texture and are set off by a cozy folded brim, making this hat an absolute classic—as beautiful as it is functional. Top it off with an optional pom-pom to really make it sing!

This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. Smaller needles are used for the brim, then swapped for larger needles as the cables begin. The cable portion of the hat is fully charted and repeated four times around the hat. An optional pom-pom is added after finishing.

This pattern is fully charted and not written out.
