Inspired by a trip my family and I took to a river in Korea that abounded in beauty and wildlife, the Riverside Serenity baby blanket takes me right back to that place and time. I fell in love with the willow trees, the poppies, the birds and all of the beautiful wildflowers. I hope it lends that serene atmosphere to those who see it as well as to those who snuggle beneath it.

This is designed in one size as a baby blanket measuring about 40 inches by 32 inches.

I have included a gauge pattern, so you can measure against my gauge and adjust as you like. As it is a blanket, gauge isn’t critical unless you want your finished product to be the same size as mine.

I used 11 skeins of Vanna’s Choice solids in 9 different colors: 2 Olive (dark green), 1 Scarlet (red), 1 Colonial Blue (dark blue), 2 Silver Blue (light blue), 1 Dusty Green (light green), 1 Eggplant (purple), 1 Toffee (brown), 1 Linen and 1 White.

This is a pattern only, not a finished item.
