Here on the east coast of beautiful Vancouver Island you will find a very enthusiastic group of knitters - RiverStitch - This wrap is based on the Reader Wraps that were so popular a few years back with deep pockets to store goodies!

For the RiverStitch Knitter’s Wrap I chose the Double Wave Cable to represent the Campbell River as it flows from Buttle Lake, passing forested peaks and plunges through rocky canyons on its way to Discovery Passage.

This Wrap has garter stitch side borders and two Double Wave Cables flanked with double moss stitch. The Cables cradle the pockets as you get a sense of dipping your hand into the river and realizing the water will still flow out to the passage on either side of your wrists.

Apprx 20 “(51cm) x 67” (170cm)

Curl up with this wrap, an e-reader, your phone, a cup of tea or cocoa for a relaxing break..

I decided to line my pockets and added large snaps so the pockets don’t get in my way or if I don’t want to lose my treats!
