The Riverstone Owl Mittens were inspired by the requests I have had for mitten patterns over the past year using some of our hand dyed yarns. When I was dreaming about designing this pattern I thought that I really wanted to incorporate a little bit of lace on the cuff edge. Just for something different.
Recommended to experienced knitters that are comfortable knitting in the round and following colour & lace charts.
Materials needed:
1 50 gram/210 yd skein of sock yarn in a light colour.
1 50 gram/210 yd skein of sock yarn in a dark colour.
2 mm dpn’s or circular needles.
Stitch marker.
Stitch holder or scrap yarn.
Size of mittens: Small to medium. Finished measurements are 7” round and 11” long after blocking.

Happy Knitting!
