Here is a basic mitten with just enough colour work to make it an interesting knit.
Available in sizes, small 6.5 inches around the knuckles, medium 7 inches, and large 8 inches. The small fits women’s small and large fits a man’s large.
This pattern is best suited to the adventurous beginner or intermediate knitter.
Knitters will enjoy best success if they possess the following skills; knit and purl comfortably in the round.
Using worsted wool yarn makes these mitts super warm and a fairly quick knitting project. 100 grams/200m for main colour and 50 grams/100m for contrasting colour.
Needles needed are 4mm double pointed or circular for magic loop.
Happy Knitting!
Susan.
