As a gallivanting yarnista I am fortunate enough to travel and gather inspiration from wherever I roam. I see knitting projects in the architecture around me, in the beauty of nature and sometimes even in a roadside sign. While roaming I often find myself drawn to the peacefulness of a quite walk along a river, to the soothing sounds of the water and the beauty of a sunset. This particular pattern was inspired by my chosen mother, the woman who taught me to knit who lives along a river. I have spent countless hours enjoying her company and the beauty of her surroundings. She has always encouraged me in my knitting to play, to create and to simply enjoy. So I encourage you to play with color in this pattern and most importantly to enjoy the process.
