Sleeveling - also known as Ærmeling …
Nothing and something, that is a Sleeveling. A dear child has many names, and this design has many functions.
Sleeveling is a sleeve with shoulder shrug, a scarf, or a sweater when knitted as a pair. There are also other possibilities, for example as a combined hat and scarf.
If you want 2 Sleevelings, you need 2 additional yarn balls, either in the main colour or another colour. So you can knit either 2 similar Sleevelings or 2 Sleevelings with a different main colour, but the same stripes.
This model is knitted with dropped stitches and stockinette stitches. If you use a circular needle, you can avoid sewing it together
