Pattern calls for 4(5,6) skeins of MC, 1(1,2) skeins of one color, and one skein each of four additional colors.

For a fitted look (as shown), choose a size with about 2” of positive ease--you don’t want negative or zero ease, as this is a stranded pattern in worsted weight.

You can follow the directions and it will turn out fine, but don’t be confused when comparing your end stitch count to the published numbers.
