Road to Nowhere Socks
An easy to memorise pattern with a classy finish – the Road to Nowhere socks are suitable for novice sock knitters. Knit cuff-down and in the round with an optional contrast cuff and toe, the slip-stitch rib adds interest whilst not over complicating things! The sock is finished with a ‘barn toe’ – no Kitchener stitch or grafting required. A simple design to knit in the car on those long summer road trips.
Finished sock circumference: 15.25 (17.5/ 20) cm / 6 (7/ 8) inches.
To fit foot circumference: 18 (20.5/ 23) cm / 7 (8/ 9) inches.
The slip stitch and rib pattern on the sock makes it stretchy, choose a size which is 10-15% smaller than your foot measurement.
