This pattern is knitted in double stockinette stitch at the brim and then works it’s way into double moss stitch pattern for the body of the hat. I was inspired to knit this pattern up by the drink coffee. The double moss stitch pattern looks like tiny little coffee beans and I thought it would be a nice idea to make a design out of it.

This beanie is extra warm at the brim due to its double stockinette stitch. It requires aran weight yarn , basic knowledge of knit and purl stitches , seaming using mattress stitch. This pattern is great for those who have never tried the double stockinette stitch brim before.

Overall it is a super fun easy pattern to knit up and the end result is that you get to wear a nice warm cosy beanie!
