Crochet is a popular craft in El Salvador, my home country, as the weather is generally too hot for knitted clothes. The neckpiece of this Robin cardigan is a relatively simple project, but the result is equally charming without it

The cardigan is worked from the top down with a circular yoke. A small section of short rows is worked at the back of the neck and above the hem for a more comfortable fit. The collar is crocheted separately and attached to the neck by picking up 1 st from neck edge and 1 st from collar and knitting the 2 sts together while easing the collar along the neck edge as you work.
