I made this dishcloth in honor of my grandmother. Her birthday falls in May (sometimes on Mother’s Day). She loved to fly. She always said, “If reincarnation is real, I’d like to come back as a bird.” I don’t think she believed in reincarnation, but she loved to fly.

This can be made in all one color. It only uses a little bit of blue and a little bit of orange. The blue finishes before the orange starts. There are a few strange stitches, but they are explained in the rows of the pattern and are only used a couple times.

1 ball (2 oz) Peaches & Creme, color 02012, Good Earth
2 yrds blue (eggs), Peaches & Creme, color 01742, Bright Blue.
2 yrds orange (Robin’s breast), I Love This Cotton, Color 42, Orangeade.
