The pattern tells you everything you need to know.

I’ve used one 100g ball of King Cole Big Value chunky, in a colour called Carnation for this, plus a small quantity of light grey, light brown or beige, and red for the robin. There is a small amount to finish off by hand sewing for the eye, beak and feet, which needs a small piece of black yarn.

Can be knitted with any chunky yarn of the correct tension.

Tension: 14 stitches x 20 rows= 4 inches/10 cm, on 6 mm needles.
