The Robinson Wrap Cardigan is a soft, fitted cardigan with a tie fastening. It is knitted from the top down in one piece with a modified raglan construction. The cardigan is finished with a double knitted edge and i-cord ties.
Sizes: (A, B, C) (D, E, F) (G, H, I)
Measurements: The sizes are designed to fit a natural bust measurement of (75, 85, 95) (105, 115, 125) (135, 145, 155) cm and a natural waist of (61, 68, 78) (88, 98, 108) (118, 128, 138) cm. This cardigan is very fitted, so if in doubt about sizing, you may want to size up.
Needles: 4mm circular needles (80 or 100cm lengths), 3.5mm circular needles (80 or 100cm lengths), 3mm circular needles (100cm length)
If you do not wish to use the magic loop technique, you will also need 3.5mm and 4mm DPNs.
Gauge: 21 stitches x 28 rows on 4mm needles
Note the row gauge may matter more here than in some other patterns, as the yoke is fairly short and close fitting.
Yarn: Merino by Knitting for Olive
(3, 4, 5) (5, 5, 6) (7, 7, 8) skeins
It is held with Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive
(4, 4, 5) (6, 6, 7) (8, 8, 9)
Alternatively substitute this yarn suggestion for your preferred fingering weight and lace weight yarns held together, or substitute both for one strand of a DK weight yarn which achieves gauge.
It will require (700, 810, 1060) (1130, 1220, 1360) (1530, 1680, 1870) m in total.
Notions: Eight stitch markers, needle to weave in ends, scrap yarn or spare cables to hold sleeve stitches.
