La inspiración de este sweater nace del punto de las mangas, cuando lo vi, me remitió a la bellota del roble y eso me llevó a mi infancia. Un tío abuelo hacía plantines de roble y nos regalaba los pequeños árboles. Así nació el nombre de este diseño y trajo al presente un hermoso recuerdo del pasado.

Este diseño se teje de arriba hacia abajo (top-down) empezando por el cuello. A diferencia de un Raglan tradicional, se comienza con todos los puntos de los brazos montados en las agujas y se aumenta sólo en el cuerpo para alcanzar los puntos de contorno de busto. Una vez separado el cuerpo de las mangas, el cuerpo se continúa tejiendo en jersey hasta el cierre inferior donde se realiza un cierre en picot. Las mangas se tejen en punto fantasía desde el principio del sweater y se continúa hasta realizar el cierre en picot.

Este patrón cuenta con los siguientes talles: XS, (S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). Elegir el talle de acuerdo a tus medidas y preferencias, si estás entre dos talles elegir el más grande. Esta prenda contempla una holgura positiva de 10 cm aproximadamente.

• Agujas circulares de 3 mm, 4 mm (o adecuadas para coincidir con la muestra) con cable de 80/100 cm y agujas de preferencia para circunferencias pequeñas para las mangas (magic loop, DPN o shorties).
• Extras: marcadores de punto, lana de descarte y aguja lanera.

The inspiration for this sweater comes from the stitch pattern used on the sleeves. When I first saw it, it reminded me of oak (roble in spanish) acorns, which immediately took me back to my childhood. A great-uncle of mine used to grow oak seedlings and gift them to the family. That is how this design got its name, bringing a beautiful memory from the past into the present.

This garment is knit from the top down, starting at the collar. Unlike a traditional raglan, it begins with all the sleeve stitches cast on, and increases are worked only on the body to reach the final bust circumference. Once the body and sleeves are separated, the body is worked in stockinette stitch down to the bottom edge, which is finished with a picot bind-off. The sleeves are worked in a lace stitch pattern from the very beginning of the sweater and continue down to a picot bind-off.
