The ROBUSTA pillow is made by knitting 2 pieces of approx. 40x40 cm.

The cushion should fit exactly in the mounting cushion and not be too big.
The knit gives a little, so the dimensions are a little smaller than the mounting pad itself.

The front of the pillow is knitted in the pattern called “Brombær mønster (in Danish) or Bramble stitch (in English)”
The back is knitted in “knit”, but it is the purl side that is on the cushion - note - the back is only knitted with 1 thread of yarn!

The 2 knitted pieces are put together via a knitted edge all the way around - which is finally sewn together by hand.

The zipper is best fitted by sewing it in by hand.

It can be quite hard for the fingers to knit the Bramble stitch, so take a few breaks once in a while, or start knitting the back and switch between the 2 knits to spare your fingers
