A fun colorwork cardigan with steeking

Design and construction

  • Top-down cardigan
  • Work in round with steeking
  • Round yoke
  • Separate sleeves at underarm
  • Short rows below yoke for better fit
  • Length of body and sleeves can be modified easily
  • Work sleeves in rounds
  • Cut steek at finishing stage
  • After cutting steek, pick up stitches along fronts for button bands
