Intarsia designs decorate the pockets, hems & back of this cute cardigan with a large rocking horse on the back Four sizes, from 6 months to 24 months.

Also Needed: small amounts (less than one skein each) of eight different colors of yarn for the intarsia bands. Estimated yardage is included in the above figures.

Four 1/2” buttons

Important feedback from Jean Moss: the version illustrated here is nothing like my original design. It lacks the rocking horse intarsia and has had its construction modified into a sort of baby’s hunting jacket. Furthermore since I am strongly against blood sports I do not want to be associated with a garment that looks like this and features a hunt horse.
