Rocky Point resulted from my need to be reminded of summer during the neverending winter of 2015, This yarn kept me thinking that in a few short months I’ll be able to sit on the beach and stare at the ocean.
A color named Beach Bum seemed a natural for this design and the Lillian was a joy to knit with. I used a little more than 600 yards. There is a note in the pattern on how to make the shawl larger.
The shawl features a garter body and lace and eyelet border. It’s a great way to try lace!

The finished shawl measures 5” wide at the tips and 14” in the center. The length is 74 1/2 “. Plenty of shawl to wrap around and keep the chill away!
