Rocky the Rooster loves to spread his wings over the handle of your pots and pans, watching over your food while you cook. Of course, he can’t crow when your food is about to burn, but he’ll do his best to stop you from burning your hands on hot pots and pans!

This crochet pattern uses worsted-weight yarn (cotton or wool recommended), and is a great stash-buster. It is rated “Intermediate” in difficulty. The pattern includes full directions and partial chart. plus “in-progress” photos to help you through the tricky bits.

THIS IS NOT A SCANNED PATTERN. This is an entirely new pattern, designed and written by me. It was inspired by the vintage “Little Hen” pattern found in the 1940’s book, “40 Hot Pot Holders and Other Gadgets” by Enterprise Yarn.
