Knit a fast-and-easy cowl in a 3x2 rib in the round on a 16” circular knitting needle with a bulky weight yarn. The uneven rib stitch gives a different look to the cowl when it is worn folded down around the neck. It will dress up a coat, dress, or top and help you stay warm at the same time. The sample was made with one skein of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Tonal (124 yds) with a size 11 (8 mm) 16” knitting needle. Finished size of the cowl is 8” tall x 22” around (unblocked). The pattern also includes instructions for using a worsted or Aran weight yarn. You can use any weight of yarn with a knitting needle size that works for that yarn and/or by changing the number of stitches you cast on for the desired size cowl. This design is a joint effort with Jamie Roe (RoeofPurls). Enjoy!
