As a crafter we end up with several tools related to the craft we pursue. There comes a time when we have several hooks in steel, plastic, wood and what not. As the hooks increase in number, they get bunched up in different places. Making this hook roll was to organise hooks in one place and to find them easily when needed.

Made of worsted weight yarn, the hook roll accommodates 14 hooks. You can increase the number of rows to place more hooks if you want. One skein of worsted wt yarn or some colours from your scrap stash would suffice for this roll.
It is a fairly simple pattern made using simple stitches. Gauge is not terribly important.
