With a need to knit four baby hats in two months for family and friends, I came up with a simple rolled-edge design with balanced decreases. Use two strands of DK weight yarn for a marled effect, or a single strand of Aran weight. It looks cute with or without a pom-pom.

Unstretched circumference of the hat is 15.5 inches.
