This easy crochet blanket pattern makes a cozy, chunky throw with beautiful wave, ripple, and chevron texture. The Rolling Hills Blanket works up in a simple two-row repeat that’s easy to memorize — perfect for advanced beginners ready to learn a new stitch, and relaxing enough for experienced makers who just want something soothing to work on.

Made with super bulky yarn, this blanket is warm, weighty, and so pretty — the kind of throw you reach for on a chilly evening, and that looks lovely draped over the back of your couch the rest of the time.

The pattern is written in 9 sizes, from baby to king, using #6 super bulky yarn. But you’re not locked into either one. Full instructions are included for adjusting the width and length to any size you like, plus guidance for using any yarn weight — super bulky, bulky, worsted, or something lighter. Make it to fit your bed, your sofa, or whatever yarn is already in your stash.
