This is a pattern for a turtleneck scarf. that’s made using a sport weight yarn. However, the turtleneck aspect of the scarf keeps you warm on even the coldest days. There are two very unique cables used in this scarf; there’s one that travels back and forth surrounding a center cable that extends into the turtleneck section of the scarf. The cable lace stitches used in this scarf are both charted and written out line by line.

Skill Level (for scarf): Intermediate+ (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting)

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport, undyed.

The scarf was expertly pattern tested by Eleanor Dixon, who can be reached at: eledixon@comcast.net, and who is known on Ravelry as:
“eledixon”.
