This is a beginner-advanced beginner level pattern and will work up quickly depending on the type of yarn used. Instructions are provided to change the size of the finished sweater.

While Wool Days Scout yarn was used for this project, any other worsted weight yarn will suffice. You can even adjust the pattern and try it with a bulky or lace weight yarn and see what happens!

I used 9 skeins of Wool Days Scout to create my “women’s medium” sized cocoon sweater (total of about 950 yards).

While the yardage requirements are large for this pattern, different yarns can be substituted to fit any supplies budget.
