This striped, fisherman’s sweater is based on the sweater Roman Karpwitch is wearing in the 1884 image taken by Prince Roland Bonaparte. A typical steeked design, the sweater is knitted in the round from the waist up and steeked at the armholes and neckline. The sweater is designed with 4 inches (10.2 cm) of ease. The sleeves are picked up from the steeking and knitted down to the cuff. Both the waist and cuffs are simple turned hems with hem splits. Choose between the full-length sleeve or the three-quarter-length sleeve for warmer weather.
