Ronja Hood
A lovely, warm, and simple hood knitting pattern. The neckline is worked in the round with increases at each shoulder. Then the back piece and front piece are worked separately with decreases forming a small point. Stitches are then picked up along the entire cast-on edge for the hood. The hood is worked back and forth in stockinette stitch, with increases and decreases to shape it. Finally, the hood is bound off using the kitchener stitch (grafting stitches).
Sizes: One size
Gauge: 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches = 16 sts x 23 rows in stockinette stitch on 5 mm US 8/UK 6 needles.
