A summer sun hat, with a wide brim to protect your child from the sun. Made with a recycled wool and cotton blend with a rustic look. My Ronja used her hat for 2 years. The bigger size fits her (3 y/o) and her sister (6 y/o) The front post double crochet stitches give the summer hat a vintage look. It also creates a stretchy fabric.

For the hat part you crochet every row and then join in the round. The first ch3 counts as a dc.
For the brim part you do not join in the round. You will crochet a spiral. You can place a marker in the first stitch of the round and move it with every new round.
