Ronnie The Fox is knitted in stocking stitch on straight needles, the front and back of his body, tail, nose and trousers are all worked flat and sewn together following both written instructions and simple charts. His chest, muzle, inner ears, and the tip of his tail are worked using the intarsia method. His arms, legs, boots, sweater and scarf are all knitted in the round. This particular Ronnie and his clothes, are knitted in a 4ply (Super Fine, Fingering) pure wool yarn and require 7 (plus a very small amount of dark grey), 100% wool; 115m (125 yd) 25 g balls of yarn to complete. However, any weight of yarn can be used with these instructions — just make sure that you follow the suggested tension on the ball band.
