100 grams of sock yarn (I used Schoppel ALB lino in Wald) and 10 grams of a contrast color (I used Drops Fabel in off-white).
2 sets of 5 dpns size 0 or 2 mm. I knit very loose, maybe you need bigger needles to get a nice fabric.
1 darning needle.

Gauge: 23 stitches and 34 rows are 4 by 4 inches or 10 by 10 cm using double pointed needles size 0 or 2 mm in stockinette.
