I love a colourful yoke nordic style sweater as much as the next gal, and when I realized that I could take my favourite elements from an apres-ski pullover and make it work with a few Granny Squares, I was giddy to give it a shot. This sweater is everything that I hoped it would be and more. It’s sporty, chic, colourful, cozy, and unique! I hope you love it as much as I do.

Sizes
91.5 (96.5, 106.5, 117, 127, 137) (147.5, 157.5, 167.5, 178) cm / 36 (38, 42, 46, 50, 54) (58, 62, 66, 70)”

Sample shown is worn with approximately 9” of positive ease. 6-12” of positive ease recommended. The finished measurements are the actual finished measurements of the garment. Choose a size that corresponds to 6-12” larger than your chest measurement to give you the amount of ease you like. The sleeves are intentionally quite roomy at the bicep with quick decreases down the length for a fitted cuff. Really comfortable for layering!

Gauge
22 stitches and 28 rows = 10 cm / 4” square in stockinette stitch, on larger needles after wet blocking.
4 round granny square measures 9 cm / 3.5” (used for sizes 36, 38 & 42”).
5 round granny square measures 10.75 cm / 4.25” (used for sizes 46, 50, 54, 58, 62, 66 & 70”).

Recommended Needles
Size F 3.75mm crochet hook.
3.5 mm (US size 4) for ribbing, 40 cm / 16” for collar, 60 cm / 24” or longer for body hem and your preferred needle style for working small circumference in the round for the sleeve cuffs.
4 mm (US size 6) 40 cm / 16” for top of yoke, 60cm / 24” or longer for body and your preferred needle style for working small circumference in the round for the sleeves.

Yarn
Tanis Fiber Arts PureWash DK (113g = 260 yds). Each 5 round square uses approximately 10g, 23 yds of yarn. I used a variety of leftover odds and ends for my sample. I live for scrappy projects!
