Reminiscent of intertwined twigs forming nests, circular cables transverse this cozy cowl, which can be worn long and draped for drama, or doubled up for snuggly warmth.

The fun-to-work twisted ribbing on either side of the central cable adds texture and structure. The bulky merino worked at this gauge is heaven to knit and to wear.

Finished Measurements (approximate):
Width: 7.5”/19 cm
Length (adjustable): 55”/140 cm-
At this length, the cowl can easily be wrapped around neck twice with room for drape and styling.

Gauge:
10 sts & 7 rows = 2”/5 cm in Twisted Rib pattern after blocking
Note: gauge is not crucial since this is not a fitted garment, however, differences in gauge are likely to affect total yardage used. The most important thing to consider when choosing a needle size is the resulting texture: the goal is a loose, airy texture, without being “see-through” or leaving holes when working cables.
