Description: This sweet little stuffed bear makes a great handmade gift. Knit in one piece with very minimal seaming, he knits up quickly and requires little finishing.

Techniques used in this pattern beyond knit and purl include increasing, decreasing, 3 needle bind off and a small amount of short rowing.

Finished dimensions Finished bear measures approximately 12” in length

Gauge 28 sts and 40 rows = 4” in stst worked in the round
Recommended needles US size 2 (2.75mm) set of 5 double pointed needles (DPNs), or size required to obtain gauge

Materials
150 yards of fingering weight yarn in main color (MC)
10 yards fingering weight yarn in contrast color (CC)
2 yards of black fingering weight yarn, held double, for eyes and nose (these are stitched on with a tapestry needle, not knit)
4 stitch markers
4 stitch holders

1-2 oz (30-60 g) stuffing (amount varies depending on how stuffed you want your finished bear to look)
