Heavily textured fisherman style socks are really very easy to knit. The legs of these socks are decorated with double moss stitch cobblestone panels, broad ladder bands and simple rope cables. The patterning (minus cables) continues down the top of the foot to show off when not wearing shoes. These socks are knit cuff-down to the toe and feature the traditional heel flap and gusset construction method. Directions for the stitch pattern are given both in charts as well as line-by-line written instructions.
