Although leprechauns are frequently blamed for being mischievous troublemakers, Rory isn’t like that. He’s good-humoured and a positive thinking bundle of fun, whose pot of gold is always half full rather than half empty. He prefers orange juice to Irish ale. And favours dancing the tango with local squirrels more than performing a jig. His dream is to quit repairing shoes for elves and to open his very own shoe boutique. If he likes your sense of humour, he might present you with a four-leaf clover that brings a stroke of luck into your life.

SIZE:

If you crochet with a 2 mm (US 0) hook and use fingering/4-ply yarn, your Rory the Leprechaun should measure approximately 25 cm.
Your doll will vary in size if you opt for a bigger or even smaller hook and chunkier or finer yarn.
For crocheting Rory I used fingering yarn (50g/240 m, 100 % mercerized cotton).
