The top is knitted seamlessly from the top down, first in flat panels and then joined to knit in the round. First, you cast on stitches for the back and work the back panel. Then, you pick up stitches for the shoulders, join the front and work the front panel. After some increases, you join the two panels in the round and work the body with optional waist shaping. You will finish the top with i–cord edges and optional short row cap sleeves.

Yarn
Without sleeves: You will need approx. (150, 150, 200)(200, 250, 250)(300,
350, 400) g of Knitting for Olive Merino (250m / 50g)
With cap sleeves: You will need approx. (150, 150, 200)(200, 250, 250)(350, 400, 400) g of Knitting for Olive Merino (250m / 50g)
Any light fingering-weight yarn would work. I prefer merino, as it makes the top more stretchy and durable.
