Even the most grey, dark and moody January day will get a romantic touch when putting on the Rosamundi ensemble! And who doesn’t want to glow a bit during the darkest months of the year?

The Rosamundi two-piece set is made to flatter most figures; lovely to wear for an evening out, a romantic weekend in the countryside or whenever you feel like wearing something light as a cloud, soft and warm, feminine and flattering. You could match them as a set, or use each piece on its own. The lace-top is the perfect choice whenever you want the advantages of a lace-shawl without tucking in lots of fabric and keeping it in place.

Tank/camisole has slight waist-shaping, garter-stich hems and a lovely, deep scoop-neck. It is worked bottom-up and in-the-round to armpits where work is divided for back, right and left front.
Finishing work is limited to shoulderseams (that even could be worked together using the three-needle bind-off method)
Gauge is 24 sts over stochinette st
You will need 3/3/3/3/4/4 balls of wool to work the top.

Lace-pullover is short and fits to under the bust. Front and back are rectangular pieces seamed together for shoulders. Stiches are picked up for sleeves that are worked top-down. All pieces are worked flat and back-and-forth.
The lace-pattern is a repetetive pattern worked over 6 sts.
Gauge is 20 sts over lace-pattern
You will need 3/3/3/3/4/4 balls of wool to work the top.

Pattern This pattern is a 2-in-1 pattern with seperate instructions for the tank/camisole and the lace-top. I give you detailed instructions for each piece. For the lace-top there are row-by-row instructions as well as a clear and easy-to-follow chart.

Material I used the soft and lovely Kid Silk from Austermann to work the Rosamundi ensemble. It comes in balls of 25gr/0.88oz. There are quite a few similar products on the market. As long as you respect the gauge you could choose a similar wool.
You will be needing straight and circular needles 3.5mm/US4 (or according to gauge).
