This is a spectacular pattern producing amazing results for those who have the patience and the attention to detail it requires. There are some secret ingredients, which you will learn about when you buy the pattern, which keep the rose sturdy and staying upright in the vase. The pattern uses Manos Serena yarn, which is a delightful yarn 60% baby alpaca and 40% cotton. The flower itself is knitted in four pieces - one centre piece and three outside petals. There are six pieces for the leaves. The stem is knitted in one piece as a tube usig double pointed needles. The pieces are quick to knit but the making up is fiddly and takes a while.
