A pattern for an adorable Waldorf Style Dress Up Doll, which comes with a dress, bloomers and shoe pattern included.
All clothing is easily removable, even for young children.

My inspiration was a favourite fairytale from my childhood, called “ Snow White and Rose Red”.
This is the adorable tale of two sisters and how their fortunes changed because of their kindness.
So I called the dolls Rose and Bianca.

I designed them especially for children from about 3 years of age, who are interested in dressing up a doll. It’s the perfect size for carrying around and the clothes are easy to take off and put on again.

The plastic inserts in feet ensure that the doll can even stand, as well as sit.
Older children will appreciate the more realistic detail in feet as well as hands, which has a well defined thumb and fingers.

The hair is knit separately and then stitched to head, a lot less fiddly than attaching single strands.
You can choose the length of hair as well as between straight or curly.

The doll is knit flat and then seamed, this is not a difficult pattern.
Suitable for confident beginner to intermediate knitter.

The pattern includes lots of pictures to help you with every step.

Size: About 34 cm or 13 1/2 inches.

Any 8 ply, also called DK or Light Worsted Weight yarn in your choice of colours is used
throughout the pattern.

I used high quality acrylic yarn, but you can also use cotton or wool if you prefer.
Amount may vary, depending on choice of yarn.
