Pattern requirements:

Skill level: easy
Time: up to 10-15 minutes for one (three-petalled flower)
Yarn and hook: For my roses I used a light cotton thread / crochet yarn and 1.9 mm (B1-E4) hook. Besides light, you may also try with fine and medium size yarn. It will certainly make difference in size. If you use other sizes of yarn for this project, you should consult the label of your yarn/thread because it always gives information about recommended hook sizes.
Left over yarn is perfect for this kind of project.
Gauge: not important for this project.
Used terms: chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st.), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc).
Optional materials: tapestry / sewing needle, chains, jump rings, sequins, glass beads
