Top-down trapezium shawl with two repeating lace motifs and an Estonian lace inspired edging. Knit from just one skein of 2ply weight yarn (800m) on relatively large needles for a light, airy but beautifully detailed accessory, ideal for late summer evenings. Pattern is charted with adjunct written explanation. Contains double yarn-overs and multiple increases within the same stitch. Suitable for competent lace knitters.

MATERIALS
100g (800m) Eden Cottage Yarns Pegasus Lace.
3.5mm circular needle (100cm long) or as needed to achieve preferred tension.
4mm crochet hook for cast-on
20x stitch markers
6x stiff & 4x flexible blocking wires, plus T-pins
Darning needle

TENSION
15st and 30 rows = 10cm/ 4 inches stocking stitch after blocking. Exact tension is not vital for shawl knits but may result in running out of yarn if not matched. This pattern has a contingency of around 80m.

Shawl will be on display on The Yarn Cafe Stall (C17) at Fibre East (http://www.fibre-east.co.uk) Sat 14th-Sun15th July 2012.

Yarn is also available at The Yarn Cafe.
