Rose on the Grey es un cardigan tejido desde el cuello, usando dos hebras juntas, una de grosor fingering y una de grosor lace, lo que deja un halo de suavidad y elegancia en él. El cuello, puño y contorno delantero tienen delicados detalles de puntos y bodoques. El toque de color lo dan los bellos botones con flores encapsuladas que mandé a hacer especialmente para este diseño y es lo que le dió su nombre. Si bien el diseño original es con mangas tres cuartos, está la opción de tejerlo en manga larga. Es un cardigan delicado y abrigador. Un diseño simple, elegante y amable de tejer.

Materiales
1 hebra de hilado grosor fingering y 1 hebra de hilado grosor lace tejidas juntas, como alternativa puede usarse 1 hebra de hilado grosor sport o DK.
Como ejemplo usé Merino SW grosor fingering (100% merino sw; 400 m/100 gr) color gris con speckles y Kid Silk Mohair (65% kid mohair, 35% silk; 500 m/50 g) color gris de Chile Sheep Wool.
Las cantidades a usar son: 800 (850, 900, 1100, 1300, 1500, 1600, 1700) mts de hilado fingering y 800 (850, 900, 1100, 1300, 1500, 1600, 1700) mts de hilado lace.

Construcción
El patrón incluye 2 versiones: versión manga tres cuartos y versión manga larga. Adicionalmente puedes elegir tejer con dos hebras tejidas juntas (fingering + lace) o con una hebra grosor sport o DK.
El cárdigan se teje de arriba hacia abajo, trabajando el cuerpo en plano y las mangas en circular. Se comienza por el cuello con diseño de puntos y bodoques, luego se tejen vueltas cortas alemanas para darle altura a la espalda y posteriormente se teje el canesú manteniendo una guarda en el mismo diseño del cuello a cada lado del delantero. La pata botonera se va tejiendo a la vez en punto bobo. Finalmente se hacen aumentos raglán antes de dividir el cuerpo y las mangas. Éstas terminan en un puño con el mismo diseño de puntos del cuello.

Rose on the Grey is a cardigan knitted from the neck, using two strands together, one fingering and one lace, which leaves a halo of softness and elegance on it. The collar, cuff and front contour have delicate stitch and bobble details. The touch of color is given by the beautiful buttons with encapsulated flowers that I had made especially for this design and that is what gave it its name. Although the original design has three-quarter sleeves, there is the option of knitting it with long sleeves. It is a delicate and warm cardigan. A simple, elegant and easy to knit design.

Construction
The pattern includes 2 versions: three-quarter sleeve version and long sleeve version. Additionally you can choose to knit with two yarn held (fingering + lace) or with one yarn of sport or DK.
The cardigan is knitted from the top down, working the body flat and the sleeves in circular. It starts at the neck with a knit and bobble stitch design, then German short rows are knitted to give height to the back and then the yoke is knitted keeping a guard in the same design as the neck on each side of the front. The button leg is knitted at the same time in garter stitch. Finally, raglan increases are made before dividing the body and sleeves. The sleeves end in a cuff in the same stitch design as the collar
