The Rose Rambler socks are reminiscent of rambling roses which are a joy to see in bloom over the summer months. The pattern features a simple lace motif which keeps you wanting to get to the next stripe, and the next, and the next! They were designed with mini skeins in mind, but would also work wonderfully with self-striping yarn.

Yarn:
The pattern uses approximately 350yds/320m of fingering weight yarn. The sample shown uses 5 x 20g skeins of yarn by various yarn companies:
• Fruitful Fusion Non-Superwash Merino Fingering (100% non-superwash Merino) (85yds/77m per 20g) in a one of a kind colourway.
• Birdstreet Yarn Hiddleston 4 Ply (75% superwash Merino, 25% nylon) (93yds/85m per 20g) in the colourways Chiffon and Candy.
• Botanical Yarn 4ply (75% Merino, 25% nylon) (93yds/85m per 20g) in the colourways Cotelydon Undulata and Alchemilla Mollis.

Recommended Needle Size:
2.25mm (US Size 1) or appropriate size to obtain gauge. The pattern is written for the magic loop method, but can easily be adapted for using DPNs.

Gauge:
32 sts / 42 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in stockinette stitch.

Sizes:
Small (Medium, Large). Length is customisable.
Finished Measurements:
Small – 56 stitches (7 inch circumference)
Medium – 64 stitches (8 inch circumference)
