This shawl was inspired by an old table cloth pattern, through the short rows it formed the new moon shape, and the rose pattern created the beautiful lace edge. It can be knit with any weight of yarn, you just have to watch out the gauge for the proper size. Normally it will use 2 skins of lace, fingering and mohair weight yarns.

For the beautiful finish, you need to use a crochet hook to crochet the chain look edge.

With the beautiful rose edge, It can be worn either as a wrap or scarf, it all depends on how wide you want to make.

This shawl used the simplified Short Row method, I call it Turn without Wrap, which create the same effect but it is much easier and faster.

Try it and you won’t disappointed with the result, I guarantee you!
