The fragile decorations in Lehman Caves in Great Basin National Park range from common stalactites and stalagmites to abundant popcorn and soda straws to more than 300 cave shields. One beautiful formation of popcorn is called the Rose Trellis. The popcorn on the columns is so thick that it looks like a lush overgrown garden of stone. This artwork was produced under the Darwin Lambert Artist in Residence Program at Great Basin National Park.
