Summer is here and the roses are in bloom everywhere we look. Perfect for the summer are these shortie socks with a picot edge cast on, a simple lace design and an afterthought heel.

These socks are designed to introduce a picot cast on, a simple lace rib, and an afterthought heel adding provision cast on!

To fit shoe size UK 4-6 6-8:9-11
Foot circumference 19 (20:22) cms 7 1⁄4 8: 8 3⁄4 in. Leg Length 16 cm or 6 1⁄4 in

MATERIALS NEEDED

100g 4ply sock yarn - We recommend a solid colour to really show off the cable pattern. Amble, Exmoor sock yarn or Riverknits would work well for this design.
2.5mm Circular Knitting Needle 100cm
2 Stitch Markers (optional)
